Mood Board: Summer Weddings

Longer days call for a lighter color palette and chill vibes only. Here are the shades, textures, and moods inspiring us this summer wedding season.

Beige Tones

It all starts with a blank canvas. Nothing makes colors, prints or textures pop like layering them on top of rich, soft, and universally-flattering beige—the same color as the sand on the beach, or the pages of your favorite summer read.

Clean White

In some cultures, the color white is believed to keep evil spirits away. For weddings, it used to signify purity. We just think it looks fresh. And the clean lines and fabrics as airy as an ocean breeze epitomize summer’s light, carefree attitude.

Dusty Pink

The official color of sunsets, mid-century Palm Springs motels, and flamingos, nothing says summer like the color pink. We like ours sun-bleached, muted, and paired with a lot of texture—like ruffles or velvet. The King approves.combination best described as: unexpected, not-too-serious, and 100% summer.

Pale Blue

Blue skies. Blooming wildflowers. Must be summer. Use pale blue as the foundation for layering natural elements and pops of bright color—a combination best described as: unexpected, not-too-serious, and 100% summer.
