"Ironic" Weather, and a Stevie Wonder-ful Surprise

BEST WEDDING MOMENT

Lin surprised me by singing and playing the keyboard to “Signed, Sealed, Delivered.” This was a huge surprise, and it was so sweet to know that he had been secretly practicing for months in advance of the wedding.

WORST WEDDING MOMENT

We planned everything down to the last detail, and for the week leading up to the wedding the weather showed a 100% chance of rain. We thought for sure that it would blow through knowing southern weather. Then, the morning of the wedding it looked like a hurricane was coming through—slanted rain, aggressive wind, etc. So we started playing “Ironic” by Alanis Morissette and figured life is too short to let a little rain affect our wedding day. Turns out a grey backdrop makes for gorgeous photos!
