When we started designing our new Fall/Winter collection, we knew we wanted to not just capture a season, but a whole vibe. And for us, the end of the year is all about one thing: parties.
The 1970s were a time of bold fashion choices: feathered hair, zip-up jumpsuits, big bell bottoms, chest-baring tops, endless polyester—and we’re just talking about men’s style.
Dallas residents—we’re deep in the heart of Henderson Ave. Our new showroom in The Big D is the perfect place to try on rental suits and tuxedos from our collection, nail down your sizes, and get styled by one of our pros (you can trust them to make you look like this ain’t your first time at the formalwear rodeo).
In 1839, the game of baseball was born in New York. About 50 years later and 3 hours down the road, the tuxedo was invented. Exactly 125 years after the first tuxedo, The Black Tux was founded here in California.
Good news, Bay Area people: you can now visit The Black Tux IRL. Our showroom just opened up in Jackson Square, and we couldn’t be more excited to call San Francisco home.
On Saturday, April 29th, we gave away over 200 of our suits for free. All you had to do was trade in an old, ugly suit you didn’t want anymore.
We partnered with Apolis: Community Centre to bring The Black Tux showroom experience to Soho. Naturally, we had a party to celebrate.
