We partnered with Apolis: Community Centre to bring The Black Tux showroom experience to Soho. Naturally, we had a party to celebrate.
Who doesn’t love New York City? The energy, the culture, the pizza. From the moment we started The Black Tux, we knew that we wanted to bring our unique brand of suit and tuxedo rentals to NYC. So when we were given the chance to partner with uber-cool New York retailer Apolis to open a shop-in-shop at their Community Centre in Soho, it felt like a dream. Our NYC showroom is now officially open—located right next to some of of our other favorite brands, and also some good pizza places. Like we said: dream.
On Wednesday, April 19th, we invited our favorite New Yorkers—and a few new friends, too—to sip some cocktails, check out our showroom space, and see our collection of rental suits and tuxedos firsthand.
Our cofounder, Andrew Blackmon, and Apolis cofounder, Raan Parton, gave a talk about why The Black Tux and Apolis are the most natural of pairs—and then we partied the night away and took some pics in the photo booth. A great time was had by all.
