We know: it’s July, you’re melting into a sweat puddle, and you can’t imagine wearing anything with sleeves. But we’re here to tell you that great things are on the horizon—and we’re not just talking about cooler weather.
Our new “Party-Ready” rental tuxedo collection drops this fall—just in time for all your end-of-year events. Whether you’re having a winter wedding, going to a fancy holiday party (or five), or just want to step it up on New Year’s Eve—get ready to trade in your linen for plush velvet, your pastels for jewel tones, and your ratty summer tank tops for some statement-making tuxedos—designed to help you stand out for all the right reasons. Take a sneak peek at the six new styles below.
Emerald Shawl Tuxedo
This tux is all about one thing: color—and damn, it’s a good one. The emerald tone is bold enough to stand out from the crowd, but deep enough to keep your look classic (emerald’s kinda the underdog of the color spectrum). We ditched the traditional contrast satin lapel in favor of a monochromatic shawl collar in the same fabric as the rest of the tux—keeping with the “bold yet understated” theme.
Blue Shawl Tuxedo
We wanted our fall/winter collection to feel rich and luxe—both in color and texture. So we decided to combine one of our favorite medium blue shades with some super-fine, textured Italian wool. We finished the tuxedo off with a contrasting navy wool shawl collar, for a look that’s both effortlessly cool and universally-flattering.
Ruby Velvet Tuxedo
It’s impossible to walk into a room wearing this classic ruby velvet jacket and not get compliments. If you don’t believe us, we dare you to try it and see for yourself. The plush velvet texture, the rich jewel tone color—everything about it screams style and confidence. This is a look designed for the life of the party. Is that you? Could be after a few cocktails.
Grey Mélange Tuxedo
We’re giving you multiple shades of grey, and a few patterns, too. We also mixed textures, pairing super soft merino wool with sleek satin lapels. This tux might sound like a style risk, but the neutral, versatile color pulls all the different elements together—and somehow, it works perfectly. It’s basically the pineapple jalapeño pizza of formalwear—sounds weird, tastes (or in this case, looks) amazing.
Black Corduroy Tuxedo
This collection is all about statement-making updates to otherwise-traditional formalwear, so naturally we had to throw a black tuxedo into the mix. This one has a jacket made from plush, 8 wale black corduroy with slick black satin lapels—wow, talk about texture. Warning: people will attempt to pet you all night—only a minor trade-off for looking this great.
Grey Bound Tuxedo
FYI: charcoal grey makes anyone look good—and the grosgrain-finished details on this tuxedo jacket will only make you look better. Not only do the bound edges add some personality, they also conjure up images of old-school Ivy league club jackets from the mid-20th century. Modern and classic. Now and then. The best of both worlds. What more could you ask for? Not much.
