Full canvas suits (featured in our core suiting collection) contain a premium horsehair canvas layer throughout the entire jacket that molds to your body shape over time, resulting in superior draping, better breathability, and a truly personalized fit that improves with wear. Half canvas suits (found in our Essentials suiting) strategically place canvas material in the chest and lapel regions, delivering many of the quality benefits at a more accessible price point. Fused suits, commonly found in off-the-rack options, simply glue fabric layers together rather than using canvas, which often leads to an artificial stiffness, potential bubbling after dry cleaning, and significantly reduced longevity. Canvas construction—either full or half— is our choice for both appearance and durability in your wardrobe.

At this time, we do not offer in-store alterations at our flagship showrooms, though our Nordstrom partners offer in-house alterations that provide tailoring services. For any alterations you may need after receiving your suit, we will reimburse you up to $15 per item if you have the adjustment made at any local tailor. Contact customer care regarding any reimbursement requests.

We design our collection in-house with a modern American silhouette, striking a balance between classic suit-making techniques and contemporary style. Our core suiting and tuxedos feature a full canvas construction, and we use natural textiles like luxurious linen, plush cotton velvet, and breathable-yet-insulating merino wool. We offer all of this in both our rental garments and those available for purchase, so you look and feel incredible whether you rent or buy your items.

Purchases ship within 2-3 days of checkout via standard shipping, which is free on all purchase orders over $200.

Suits are generally less formal and do not feature satin accents. Tuxedos include satin details on the lapels, buttons, and pants, making them suitable for formal events. The choice depends on the event's dress code and your personal style.
